I am a ranch addict. Seriously, I have a problem. I basically lick my plate clean when there is ranch on it. Let’s face though, ranch dressing and basically any store bought salad dressing is terrible for you. I set out to make my own. Most of the recipes I found called for a lot of ingredients. I really wanted one that I could whip up quickly. I am not a fan of sour cream(which most of the other recipes used), so this recipe uses cottage cheese instead.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 tsp dill
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- milk
Directions:
- Add first 3 ingredients and blend in a blender or food processor
- Slowly add milk to get the consistency that you would like.
- I added mine to a little squeeze bottle that I bought at Wal-Mart. Makes it easy to store in the refrigerator.
